Refund policy

Your satisfaction is our mission, but if you are unhappy, please let us know. We want you to love our products and will work with you if you are not pleased with your purchase.

Due to the personal nature of our products, we cannot accept returns; however we do offer refunds or replacements if you are not satisfied with the product. Gift Certificates and Gift Cards are not eligible for a refund.

Pekin Apothecary is not responsible for any individual reaction to any ingredient or product. Each product is labeled with a complete list of ingredients. People with sensitivities to any listed ingredient should not use the product. If in doubt, always try an allergy patch test and if at any time irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product.

Damaged Items

If your product arrives damaged, please notify us by email at pekinapothecary@gmail.com within 3 days of receipt of the damaged product; include your order number so we may easily locate your information. Please take photos of any damage and retain the shipping packaging for damage claim documentation.

Once notified, we will either replace the damaged product or refund the amount of the purchase. Refund will be provided as a credit to the credit card or payment account used at the time of purchase. 

Shipping

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping, if any, will be deducted from your refund. In the rare occasion the product needs to be returned, you will be emailed shipping instructions. If you are shipping a high value item, you should consider using a shipping service that provides tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
